Health and safety is always top of mind for OCAPA. Safety issues exist in all phases of concrete and aggregate production, and the Environment, Health, & Safety Committee is dedicated to effectively identifying and addressing each of these issues.
Committee members meet six times per year, including subcommittees working on the MSHA Annual Refresher Training and MSHA Part 62 Noise and Dust Monitoring Training. Keeping employees safe and healthy is the number one priority in the concrete and aggregate industry, and OCAPA has developed robust resources to ensure the best standards and practices.
